The Summer bead is the perfect selection of healing stones to resonate with each chakra. Each chakra is generally coordinated with each color of the rainbow, but there are also alternatives.

Moonstone for the crown chakra as it is known as a strong healer and can be used to strengthen all chakras.

Amethyst for the brow/third eye chakra because it enhances intuition and can be used to connect you to the divine.

Lapis was chosen for the throat chakra because it is known as the stone of truth thus promoting honesty and self awareness.

Prehnite for the heart chakra as it encourages one to connect their heart with the heart of nature and is known as the stone of unconditional love.

Citrine was selected for the solar plexus chakra because of its ability to deepen attunement and heighten perception. It empowers you to take control and feel more at ease spiritually and physically.

Peach Moonstone was our choice for the sacral chakra because it is known to open up the Divine Feminine. It's power also supports sensuality and desire, and it can assist you in returning to your natural rhythms.

Garnet is used for the root chakra because it provides emotional stabilty and encourages the flow of energy through your aura for healing.

Placement

Make sure no clothing items are blocking your waist when measuring. Stand up straight, hold the tape measure behind you, and bring it around your waist to meet at your navel. The tape should be parallel to the floor and fit snugly around your torso without digging into your skin. Give yourself some breathing room. Look at the place on the tape where zero end meets the other end of the tape measure. The location of this meeting point is your waist measurement. Double-check your measurement. Repeat the measurement once more to ensure the accuracy of your original measurement.

Tips

Depending on how you want to wear your waistbeads, you can measure yourself above your navel, just at your navel, or right above your hips.

Use a tape measure and measure against your bare skin without sucking in your stomach. You shouldn't hold the tape loose nor too snug.

Think about where you want to wear the beads. Underneath your clothes, around your navel? With a bikini, draped low at your bikini bottoms? With a crop top, sitting about your pants? Choose your size accordingly. Clasps are a popular option for those that want to remove their waist beads.

Waist beads have been worn for generations by West Africans to accentuate and mold a woman's physique. You will feel ultra feminine. Wear with bathing suit, crop top or under clothing.

Step 1:Place the strand around your waist where you would like your waist bead to sit (anywhere between your waist and high hip), and tie the two strands once.

Step 2:Be sure that it fits your waist (not too tight! Leave room for sitting and bending). Slide your excess beads down the strand.

Step 3:Tie your strand 2-3 times for security and trim off any leftover string and beads

*Tip: You can use your access beads as an anklet or bracelet.
